We are returning to the Galax market in 2012!  We'll be there Fridays 8-noon begining in June and all the way through to October 26.  

All flowers have a vase life of at least 5 days, with many staying fresh for longer.  A contemporary-style cylinder glass vase is included.

Price is $180 for the 15 week season, paid by May 1.  Please send payment to Groundswell Farm  162 Soapstone Rd Galax VA 24333.  We will also need a physical street address for delivery.

CSA Choice offers the best of CSA combined with the convenience of the farmers market.  The customer prepays for a 20 week season, comes to the market to shop from our table, and the total is deducted from the balance.  The customer can come any week, without worrying about vacations or other breaks, and spend as much or as little as they choose.  A friend or family member can even come in the customer's stead and there is no worry about having enough cash on market day.

Groundswell Farm will have a variety of flowers and vegetables from which to choose each week.  We are unable to grow the overwhelming variety of the traditional CSA, but have planned for a nice mix of the best, most in-demand vegetables.  CSA Choice also includes any of our flower bunches, edible flowers and herbs at the market each week.

Some of the vegetable crops we're growing this year:

May-June: arugula, raab, spinach, snap peas, green onions, lettuce, mesclun mix, new potatoes, cress, dill

July-August: lettuce, beets, chard, green beans, Zephyr squash, basil, cherry tomatoes, red peppers, japanese eggplant, garlic

September-October: lettuce, chard, winter squash, peppers, eggplant, basil, leeks, garlic, kale

Price is $300 for the season.  The Galax market is open 22 weeks, the Wytheville market is open for 26 weeks.  Your price per week will depend on how often you attend the market and how much you buy--but $15/week for 20 weeks allows for a generous amount of goods while also providing a cushion for vacations, etc.  There is no refund of balances at the end of the season, so use it!

Charlotte Tailgate Farmers Market:

A producer only market in Charlotte NC.  Located at 100 West Park Ave.  We will be there at each Saturday market, opening April 26, from 9am to 1pm.  The end of the season for this market is TBA.
